Run Journal: the Beginning

My running friends who keep track in their runs with some sort of journal seem to enjoy the process – and to get something out of doing it. So here’s my go…

Today I attempted a few miles with friends. My lower leg/shin/our calf thing started bothering me at mile 0.5. Even though we walked to warm up and we were doing intervals. So I sent my friends on ahead and stopped to stretch, and then walked – no pain at all while walking. It is incredibly frustrating that this has been an on-going, but off-and-on, issue since January. But – tomorrow I am headed to a sports medicine place to have a run analysis done, so here’s hoping I got some answers…
